My name is Huw and I work on guitars, amplifiers and pedals.

I have over 20 years of experience in guitar and amplifier servicing, repairing, restoring and building, journalism, product development and consulting.

This is also the home of “GasFX Pedals”, hand made boutique pedals and kits.

  • There’s no snake oil here - the key to the Drive Thru’s tone and feel is the way it’s hand wired using amplifier grade resistors and capacitors.

    With two operating modes – Ge (Germanium) and Si (Silicon) - and interactive controls, this is a very versatile pedal. Taking you from a clean boost all the way to crunchy overdrive.

This 1960 #precbs #fenderstratocaster recently came in for a refret and to have its original 3-way switch reinstalled. It’s a rare beast with a blonde finished ash body and a slab board neck. Light and resonant with an airy mid-scooped chime.
